Dr. B. Seetharama Rao is a Professor and Senior Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, an Institution of Eminence affiliated with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). He is a former Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, as well as Melaka Manipal Medical College, Melaka, Malaysia.
Dr. Rao worked in the United Kingdom for five years and obtained his MCh degree from the University of Liverpool. An academician, administrator, and teacher for nearly four decades, he has trained numerous students in the fields of medicine and orthopaedics. This book, written for the benefit of postgraduate students and residents, is based on the extensive clinical experience he acquired in Great Britain, Malaysia, and India.
