AR Khan
AR Khan MD is currently Director of Dr Khan's Diagnostic Lab and Research Centre, Srinagar, J&K, India. He completed his MBBS in 1968 from J&K University, followed by training in cytology (Oct 1970–Apr 1971) and an MD in Pathology in 1974 from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He served as faculty in the Department of Pathology at Government Medical College, Jammu (1974–1977) and Srinagar (1977–2002), rising from Lecturer to Professor and Head of Pathology, retiring in May 2002. Prof. Khan has extensive expertise in surgical pathology and cytopathology, publishing numerous papers in these fields. He has performed and reported FNACs for over 120,000 patients between May 1984 and Dec 2023, with special interest in paragangliomas, lymph nodes, bone and soft tissue tumors, breast, and thyroid.
