Versha Katira
Versha Katira, MBBS, MS (Anatomy), RAMS (Genetics), has over 40 years of teaching experience in anatomy at state medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh and other medical, dental, and paramedical institutions. She obtained her MBBS from Government Medical College, Patiala, and completed her MS in Anatomy after joining MLN Medical College, Allahabad, as a demonstrator.
She has served as Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Head at GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, and LLRM Medical College, Meerut. She later joined Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, as Professor, where she established a genetics laboratory for chromosome culture from lymphocytes. She subsequently worked as Professor and Head and Vice Principal at Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, where she set up the Department of Anatomy and organised cadaver-based workshops for endoscopic sinus surgery.
