Vasantha Chitra D, PGD (Biostat), PGDHM, MSc (N), BSc (N), RN, RM, is a Former Reader at the
Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi. She has served as Principal, Vice Principal and
Professor across institutions in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and New Delhi. She has guided MSc (N), BSc
(N), and GNM students, serving as a university-recognized guide for both UG and PG research
projects. Her role as an Internal Auditor for NABH at ILBS, New Delhi, underscores her dedication to
institutional excellence and clinical safety standards.
She has also served as an official observer and a member of the Vigilance Squad, ensuring the
integrity of National Conferences and University Examinations. She has also been appointed as an
External Examiner and Quality Evaluator for several premier medical universities. She has further
contributed as a Senior Nursing Editor at CBS Publishers and as a key contributor to the Nursing Next
digital platform.
