Urmila Devi Bhardwaj, PhD, MSc (CHN), BSc, is a former Professor cum Principal at Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, and Former Professor cum Dean at the School of Nursing Sciences & Research, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
She brings over 35 years of teaching experience and more than 6 years of nursing administration experience as Nursing Superintendent at Holy Family Hospital and Majeedia Hospital, New Delhi.
Dr. Bhardwaj has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from Samaj Vikas Sansthan, Meerut for her contribution to rural and urban community health, the Basanti Devi Award for the best thesis in her Master’s program at Punjab University, Chandigarh, as well as Best Bedside Nurse and Best Employee awards at Holy Family Hospital. During her BSc Nursing program at AIIMS, she was honored with the Best Student Award.
