Urmila Devi Bhardwaj PhD, MSc (CHN), BSc, is a former Professor cum Principal, Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi and Former Professor cum Dean, School of Nursing Sciences & Research, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The author is having 35 years of teaching experience and more than 6 years of experience in Nursing Administration as Nursing Superintendent at Holy Family Hospital and Majeedia Hospital, New Delhi. She got a lifetime achievement award from Samaj Vikas Sansthan, Meerut for her contribution to promoting rural and urban community health. In addition, she has also received Basanti Devi Award for best thesis in her Master's degree Program. Punjab University, Chandigarh. She has been awarded best bedside nurse and best employee in Holy Family Hospital. Last but not least, the author won best student award in AIIMS during her BSc Nursing Program.
