Dr. UN Panda is a distinguished medical professional with an extensive background in both the military and academics. He completed his MBBS from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and his MD in Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, where he topped his batch. Dr. Panda served with the Border Security Force in various capacities, eventually becoming the Medical Superintendent of Frontier Hospital, Shillong, Assam. His exceptional service earned him two prestigious awards from the Hon'ble President of India.
A prolific writer, Dr. Panda has authored over 70 medical books, widely used by students of medicine, nursing, and pharmacy, as well as clinicians. His notable titles include "Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment" and "Millennium Textbook of Medicine". Some of his books have been translated into Spanish for international readers.
