Sumita Mehta
Dr. Sumita Mehta, DGO, DNB, FICOG, is the Senior Specialist and In-charge of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, Delhi. She has served as Secretary of the Indian Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ISCCP) and as an executive member and editor for the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Delhi. A certified trainer for colposcopy for both Delhi and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), she is actively involved in national societies like FOGSI, AOGD, and NARCHI. Dr. Mehta has conducted colposcopy workshops across India and delivered many academic lectures. She is the author of 10 books and has published over 75 papers in national and international journals. Her main areas of interest are high-risk obstetrics and preventive oncology.
