Sandhya Sundaram
Sandhya Sundaram, MD, DNB, FICR, MNAMS, PhD (NT–Madras), is currently Professor and former Head of the Department of Pathology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC&RI), Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has more than 26 years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and as a senior consultant pathologist.
She has authored several book chapters, including “Pathology for the Surgeon” in the textbook Short Cases in Surgery, 2nd edition (CBSPD, 2012), and had the honor of writing the Foreword for the first South Asia edition of Rosai and Ackerman’s Surgical Pathology, one of the most iconic textbooks in pathology. She has to her credit more than 120 publications and over 140 guest lectures and scientific presentations, and has received multiple research grants from governmental funding agencies.
