S Qairunnisa
S. Qairunnisa, MSc, PhD is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology at Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SVMC), Tirupati. She received her MSc in Medical Physiology from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, and her PhD in Medical Physiology from MAHER University, Chennai. She has extensive experience teaching physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate medical, dental, and nursing students.
Her research experience includes studies on stress—particularly restraint, heat, and cold stress—nerve conduction studies, ECG studies, and cardiovascular responses to yoga training. She has published several research papers in indexed journals and serves as an examiner for undergraduate students at various Indian universities.
