Rashmi Sarkar
Rashmi Sarkar MD, FAMS is Director-Professor, Department of Dermatology, Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated KSCH and SSK Hospital, New Delhi. She was the President of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) in 2022. She is also Past President, the Asian Society of Pigment Cell Research (ASPCR) (2020-23). She was Director, International Society of Dermatology (ISD) and Chair, International Mentorship Committee, ISD (2019-23). Her special interests are in Pigmentary Disorders and Pediatric Dermatology and she has lectured globally at AAD, WCD, ICD, WCPD, Dermacons. She has an H Index of 44, has edited 23 books, has 262 publications and 116 chapters. She is Editor Emeritus, Pigment International, Co-Editor, Asian Journal of Pediatric Dermatology. She is Regional Director, ILDS of South Asia, Middle East and Africa, President, Pigmentary Disorders Society and Indian Women's Dermatologic Association.
