Rajendra Prasad
Rajendra Prasad, MD, DTCD, DSc (Honoris Causa), is Director of Medical Education and Professor of Pulmonary Medicine at Era’s Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Era University, Lucknow, and Emeritus Professor at the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India. Formerly, he served as Director of the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, and as Professor and Head of Pulmonary Medicine at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.
An international leader in pulmonary medicine, he has published over 400 scientific papers, authored 11 books, and supervised nearly 200 research projects. A recipient of the Dr B. C. Roy National Award, he is widely respected as an eminent clinician, researcher, and teacher.
