R Balakrishnan
R. Balakrishnan MS, DNB
is a former Head and currently Professor and Chief, Unit II, Department of ENT and Head–Neck Surgery at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He has over 25 years of experience in clinical practice and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Dr. Balakrishnan has authored over 100 papers published in medical journals and has received the Good Teacher Award for excellence in undergraduate teaching. He has participated as faculty and speaker in various national and international conferences and continuing medical education programs. His areas of special interest include micro-ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and head and neck oncologic surgery.
