Poorva Badkur
Poorva Badkur MBBS, MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology) is Assistant Professor, Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. A former senior resident at
NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, she is the first AMPOGS Yuva Oration Awardee 2024 and
West Zone IFS Quiz Winner 2024. She is a national accredited trainer for ISCCP colposcopy
and vulvoscopy and has special interests in preventive oncology and ultrasound.
She has to her credit numerous papers published in reputed journals, written book chapters, and
contributed to postgraduate textbooks and FOGSI Focus. She has been national faculty for AOGIN 2021
and the FOGSI–FIGO Cervical Cancer Elimination Initiative, besides serving multiple FOGSI committees.
An active member of professional societies, she is currently divisional convener of MPSC AGOI and an
executive member of BOGS and IOSPARB. With her academic achievements and clinical expertise, she is
a young leader dedicated to advancing women's health
