Dr. Pooja Rao, MD
Dr. Pooja Rao is Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru, Karnataka. She serves as Infection Control Officer for the 500-bed KMC Hospital and is a member of its Hospital Infection Control Committee. She is also Deputy Quality Manager at the State Reference Laboratory (SRL), NACO. She has been recognized with the Best Young Scientist Award by MAHE in 2018 and the Best Publication Award by Manipal-McGill in 2019.
