Partha Pratim Ray
Partha Pratim Ray is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, Sikkim University, Gangtok. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, mentoring and academic administration.
His areas of research include the Internet of Things, Edge Artificial Intelligence, Pervasive Generative AI, Resource-constrained Machine Learning Systems, and Reproducible Deployment of Intelligent Systems.
His scholarly contributions comprise 131 SCI-indexed journal publications, 2 SSCI-indexed journal publications, 34 Scopus-indexed journal publications, 11 books, and numerous papers in national and international conferences. His research work has more than 15,000 Google Scholar citations, with an h-index of 42 and an i10-index of 92.
He has been included among the World’s top 2% Scientists by Stanford University from 2020 to 2025. He has received several professional recognitions such as FIETE, SMIEEE, and M-INAE.
