Dr. Niranjan Chavan is currently Professor and Unit Chief in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital and Medical College, Mumbai. He has been a teacher for MS, MD, DGO, and MBBS students for the past 28 years and serves as an examiner for theory and practical examinations conducted by MUHS, KUHS, RGUHS, and Mumbai University.
He received advanced training in endoscopy at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, UK, under Dr. Adam Magos, and holds a Diploma in Endoscopy from Staten Island, New York, USA (35 credit hours). He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals and has delivered several orations, keynote addresses, and guest lectures at national and international conferences.
