Mamta Verma
Mamta Verma, MSc (N), PhD (Scholar) (Public Health), is currently working as an Associate Professor at the College of Nursing, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She earned her nursing bachelor's degree from the Government College of Nursing, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and her Master of Science degree from Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Delhi University. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai. Driven by her passion for social sciences, she obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She has been teaching sociology and the interrelations of sociological concepts to undergraduate nursing students for over a decade. She is particularly interested in qualitative and mixed methods research. Her primary research focus includes the social contextual influences on health and well-being.
