Mamta Verma, MSc (N), PhD (Scholar) (Public Health), is an Associate Professor at the College of Nursing, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Government College of Nursing, Indore, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Delhi University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Dr. Verma has been teaching sociology and its application to nursing for over a decade. Her research interests lie in qualitative and mixed methods research, with a primary focus on the social contextual influences on health and well-being.
