Madhavan Sasidharan Satish
Madhavan Sasidharan Satish, PhD, MPT (Neurology), MSc (Psychology), BPT is currently
serving as Chief Physiotherapist and Scientist ‘D’ at the Cancer Institute (WIA),
Chennai. He is a distinguished Onco-Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience
in cancer rehabilitation. He is the Founding President of the Indian Society of Onco
Rehabilitation (ISOR) and a member of the Tamil Nadu State Allied and Healthcare
Council (TNSAHC). Serving on various academic and professional bodies, a recognized
research supervisor at The Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University, he has published
extensively in oncology rehabilitation. His interests include cancer rehabilitation,
exercise oncology, lymphedema, palliative rehabilitation, pain management, fascia-focused rehabilitation, and
survivorship care. He is a recipient of the Best Physiotherapist Award and the Distinguished Service Award in
Onco-Rehabilitation.
