Karthikeyan Kaliaperumal
Karthikeyan Kaliaperumal M, MD, Dean (Academic), is Professor and Head, Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital. He completed his MBBS and MD from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. He has delivered lectures at zonal and national conferences and has published over 250 articles in national and international journals. He has delivered the Dr. Sardarlal Memorial Oration at the Puducherry ADVL and has contributed a chapter on scabies to the ADVL Textbook of Dermatology. His work has been referenced in standard textbooks including Rook’s, Fitzpatrick’s, Andrews’, and Current Therapeutics. He serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Trichology, is a reviewer for several national and international journals, and is the Past President of the Puducherry branch of WDV.
