Gumdal Narsimulu
Gumdal Narsimulu, MD, FACM, FICP, is Professor and former Head of the Department of Rheumatology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, with over 40 years of teaching experience in internal medicine and rheumatology. He has served as Dean of the ICP and API, President of the Indian Rheumatology Association and ACM, and Chairman of various APL chapters. He has organised numerous conferences and CMEs, received several awards and orations, published widely in national and international journals, and contributed chapters to leading medical textbooks, including the API Textbook of Medicine.
Rheumatology extends beyond joint diseases to encompass autoimmune, collagen vascular, metabolic bone, and degenerative disorders.
