Deepika C Khakha
Dr. Deepika C. Khakha, PhD, M.Sc. (N), M.A. (Psychology), is Nursing Advisor at the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. She completed her PhD from IGNOU, M.Sc. in Nursing from Delhi University, and M.A. in Psychology from Annamalai University, and graduated from Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Delhi University.
With 33 years of experience at AIIMS, New Delhi, she has contributed to clinical care, teaching, counseling, and research. She has received multiple awards, including the Fogarty Fellowship (NYU, 2002), Advanced AITRP Fellowship (UCLA, 2007), AIIMSonian of America Awards for Best Nurse (1999) and Best Research (2006), and Best Poster at Evidence Live, Oxford (2013). She has served as Advisor to WHO, Inspector for the Indian Nursing Council and Delhi Nursing Council, and Master Trainer for GFATM and Helpage India.
