Dr. Deepak Malviya is the Professor and Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He has over 35 years of experience in teaching anaesthesiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Malviya has more than 100 publications, has edited a book, and contributed chapters to various books. He has served as the President of both the SAARC Association of Anaesthesiologists and the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists.
