Debabrata Basu, PhD is Professor and Head, Department of Agricultural Extension, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal. His expertise includes participatory learning and action, watershed management, participatory technology development, disaster management, training methodology, indigenous knowledge, communication systems, and distance learning. He has worked with organizations such as ICAR, MANAGE, NIRD, CARE India, IRRI, DFID, and Lutheran World Service, and has authored numerous research articles, monographs, book chapters, and books.
