D. Sathish, ME,
is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sasurie College of Engineering, Vijayamangalam, and his postgraduate degree in Thermal Engineering from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. His major research interests include non-conventional solar ponds, solar desalination, solar air and water heating, and photovoltaic thermal systems. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Anna University, Chennai.
