C R Rene Robin is presently serving as Professor (CSE) & Dean (Innovation) at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is a recognised Research Supervisor at Anna University, under whose guidance 17 research scholars have successfully completed their PhD degrees. His visionary initiative, ‘One Student, One Startup’, is driven by the UN Sustainable Development Goals through the Sairam Innovation Ecosystem. This transformative approach is contributing to a new culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving within India’s higher education system. He is also certified in Innovation, Technology and Leadership by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, further strengthening his commitment to building a future-ready academic and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
