Basant Kumar Sinha
Basant Kumar Sinha, PhD, is former Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna. He obtained his MSc (Microbiology) from AIIMS, New Delhi, and PhD from Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. With over 40 years of teaching and research experience, he has guided numerous postgraduate students and led several projects funded by ICAR, NATP, and WHO. He has published over 110 research papers in national and international journals and authored four books, including Immunology and Animal Cell Culture and Animal Cell Biotechnology. He has received awards such as the Hamdard National Foundation Award and Academic Promotion Award from Rajendra Agricultural University.
