BS Nagoba
B. S. Nagoba, MSc, PhD (Medical Microbiology), is Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Assistant Dean (Research & Development) at Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (MIMSR) Medical College, Latur, Maharashtra. He has authored or edited 17 books and published 61 papers in international journals and 90 papers in national journals. He serves on the editorial boards of several international and national journals and is a reviewer for many others. An eminent academician, he has delivered lectures at numerous national and international conferences and served as President (1999–2000) of the Maharashtra Chapter of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists. He has received several international, national, and state-level awards, including the JWC Innovation Award (UK) for his work on wound infections, and was adjudged Best Teacher by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
