Ashok K Deorari
Ashok K. Deorari, MD, DNB, FAMS, FNNF, is currently the Principal and Dean at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jolly Grant, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He is the former Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. A popular teacher and tech-savvy educator, Dr. Deorari developed a multi-modal newborn health education program, which received global recognition. He has been a pioneer in promoting the quality improvement movement in India and internationally. Dr. Deorari served as Secretary General (1995-1996) and President (2020) of the National Neonatology Forum of India.
