Arvind Kumar
Arvind Kumar is currently working as an Additional Professor in the Department of Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was entrusted with multiple responsibilities as a member of the institute’s COVID Task Force. He graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, in 2003.
A passionate clinician, researcher, and teacher, he has over 15 years of experience as an internist. He has around 100 publications in indexed national and international journals. He has been awarded the Atal Swasthya Bhushan Samman 2019 by the Honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Director, AIIMS, for his contributions to healthcare. He also received the KB Sharma Trophy in 2002 for outstanding contribution to the corporate life of Maulana Azad Medical College and won the Original Paper Merit Award at APICON 2020.
