Arun Babu Thirunavukkarasu
Arun Babu Thirunavukkarasu MD is Professor and Head, Department
of Pediatrics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, Andhra
Pradesh, India. He completed his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from JIPMER,
Puducherry, followed by an MBA in hospital administration, a Diploma in Allergy
and Asthma from CMC Vellore, and a fellowship in neonatal perinatal medicine at
the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada. With over 18
years of teaching experience, Dr Arun Babu is an accomplished clinician, teacher,
author, and researcher. He has edited 38 textbooks, including Pediatrics for
Medical Graduates, TARGET Pediatrics, and the TARGET JIPMER series. He has published more than
430 papers, received over 2,400 citations, and is a patent holder. He also serves as an editor, editorial
