Aishwarya Gopal
Aishwarya Gopal is currently Consultant Rheumatologist at Apollo Speciality Hospitals, OMR, Chennai,
Tamil Nadu. She completed her MD in General Medicine from Madras Medical College and DM in Clinical
Immunology and Rheumatology from JIPMER, Puducherry. She has authored around 15 research papers in
high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals and serves on the editorial boards of Rheumatology (Oxford) and
the Indian Journal of Rheumatology. Her areas of interest include systemic lupus erythematosus, inflammatory
myositis, and advancing women's health in rheumatology. She is passionate about personalized, evidence-based
clinical care, medical education, and research.
