Achal K. Srivastava is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Neurology at AIIMS, New Delhi, India. He heads the Clinical Neurophysiology Facility, Neurobiology Laboratory, and Ataxia Clinic at the institute. He graduated from MLN Medical College, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, in 1991, completed his MD in Medicine in 1994 from the same institution, and obtained his DM (Neurology) from AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1998. He has over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research in Neurology. His primary area of work is Movement Disorders, with special interest in ataxias, epilepsy, and neurogenetics.
