AP Kulkarni
A.P. Kulkarni, BSc, MBBS, DPH, MD, PhD, FIAPSM, is Former Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Rural Medical College, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, Maharashtra. He has also served on the faculty of Government Medical College, Aurangabad, and Government Medical College, Nanded. He was Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and has worked as Senior Consultant with the National Rural Health Mission, Pune, as well as Director of Research at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences.
He served as Vice President of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (2009–2010). He is the co-author of Textbook of Community Medicine and author of Basics of Research Methodology, and has published around 30 scientific papers in national and international journals.
