Dr. Arundhati Kolhatkar, PhD, MLT, DHA
Dr. Kolhatkar is former Professor of Medical Laboratory Science at the Michener Institute of Education, University Health Network (UHN), Canada. With over 50 years of experience in the medical laboratory profession, she has worked across diverse clinical and academic settings, including managing her own clinical laboratory. She earned her BSc in Microbiology/Chemistry from the University of Bombay, MSc in Microbiology from the University of Poona, Diploma in Hospital Administration from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Associate Diploma from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, London, and a PhD from Pacific Western University. She has taught medical laboratory science in India, Oman, and Canada. This book aims to help students and professionals understand core theoretical concepts and apply them effectively in laboratory practice.
