P. Suresh Narayana obtained his MSc in Botany from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He has approximately 37 years of teaching experience and retired as Principal of SSBN Junior College, Anantapur. During his tenure as Principal, he established the NSS unit in the college and organized several programmes, including “Clean and Green” and “Planting and Environmental Awareness.” He has participated in numerous national symposia on botany, environmental awareness, and biotechnology. He has authored six books, including Eminent Indian Botanists, Textbook of Pharmacognosy (three volumes), Research Methodology in Plant Science, and Research Methodology in Zoology.

T Pullaiah

T. Pullaiah obtained his MSc (1973) and PhD (1976) in Botany from Andhra University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Moscow State University, Russia (1976–1978). He has traveled extensively and visited universities and botanical gardens in about 17 countries. He has published 325 research papers and 35 popular articles. He has guided 54 PhD scholars and 35 MPhil students. He is a recipient of several gold medals and the Best Teacher Award, Andhra Pradesh. He is the author/editor of 75 books, including Advances in Cell and Molecular Diagnostics (Elsevier), Encyclopedia of World Medicinal Plants (five volumes), Herbal Antioxidants (three volumes), Antidiabetic Plants, Eminent Indian Botanists, Textbook of Pharmacognosy (three volumes), Research Methodology in Plant Science, and Research Methodology in Zoology.

D. Varalakshmi obtained her MPhil from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, and MSc in Botany from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and retired as Lecturer in Botany/Biotechnology at Government Degree College, Anantapur. During her tenure, she organized a national symposium on biotechnology and participated in several national symposia on botany, biotechnology, and environmental sciences. She is the co-author of four books, including Textbook of Pharmacognosy (Volumes 2 and 3), Research Methodology in Plant Science, and Research Methodology in Zoology.
