V Alagarsamy

V. Alagarsamy, MPharm, PhD, FIC, DOMH is Professor and Principal of MNR College of Pharmacy and Director of the MNR Foundation for Research and Innovations, Hyderabad. He has over two decades of teaching and research experience in medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry of natural products, specializing in synthetic heterocyclic bioactive compounds. He has authored/co-authored over 200 research papers and holds one patent. He is the co-editor of the international journal Antiinfective Agents and has written several influential textbooks, including Textbook of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Natural Products. Dr. Alagarsamy serves on the All India Board of Pharmaceutical Education (AIB-PE), AICTE, is a board of studies member at Osmania University, and a doctoral guide for PhD scholars. He was recently named among the top 2% of scientists globally in pharmacy by Stanford University, USA.

V Raja Solomon

V. Raja Solomon received his BPharm from SB College of Pharmacy, Chennai, and MPharm in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science, Indore, under Prof. S.C. Chaturvedi. He completed his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, under Prof. S.B. Katti, followed by postdoctoral research with Prof. Hoyun Lee at Health Science North Research Institute, Ontario, Canada, where he received the Postdoctoral Research Award from the Ontario Government. He was awarded a Foreign Researcher Award by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and worked at Nagoya City University, Japan. He also held research positions at the University of Sydney, Australia, and the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Dr. Solomon has authored/co-authored over 75 research papers, 3 review articles, 3 book chapters, and 1 patent, and presented extensively at national and international conferences. His research focuses on QSAR and molecular modeling, drug design, cancer drug discovery, synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and radiochemistry.
