Dr. N. Krishna Raju earned his PhD from the University of Leeds, UK and has held faculty positions at prestigious institutions in India and the UK, including the College of Engineering, Guindy; Regional Engineering College, Calicut; Lanchester College of Technology, Coventry; Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; and Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal. He also served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Basrah, Iraq.
He has received numerous awards, including the Sir Bowen Memorial Prize, Garudacharya and Krishna Iyengar Gold Medals, UP Government National Award, Birla Super Endowment Award, Eminent Civil Engineers Award, and the ICI Silver Jubilee Award.
Dr. Raju has published over 60 research papers and authored several influential books on civil and structural engineering, such as Design of Concrete Mixes, Prestressed Concrete, Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures, Advanced Reinforced Concrete Design, and Design of Bridges. His contributions to engineering education and research have had a lasting impact in India and internationally.
