Carbon nanotubes, tubes of carbon atoms less than a nanometre in diameter, have attracted considerable attention in recent decades due to their great strength and conductivity properties. This book seeks to inform the reader about the development of carbon nanotubes and their many exciting applications in a range of the fields. The first part of the book presents new insights into key topics.
