This book explores analogue circuit topologies and architectures, highlighting key issues in design and showcasing recent advancing in analogue circuitry. The first section, "Analogue Circuits" offers two perspectives on circuit design. The first chapter considers a novel architecture for an analogue-to-digital converter using pulse-width modulation for potential biomedical applications. The second chapter considers the design of a novel transistor architecture with a range of potential uses. The second section, "Advances in Analogue Circuits", considers new directions in the field.
