Saroj Kumar S., MD (Pediatrics), PGPN (Boston), is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Nalanda Medical College & Hospital, Patna, Bihar, and also serves as Deputy Superintendent of the hospital. He has an excellent academic career spanning over 12 years following the completion of his MD in Pediatrics.
He is currently serving as the Honorary Secretary of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), Bihar State Branch. A prolific researcher, he also contributes as an Associate Editor to the Journal of Clinical Pediatrics. He is a well-recognized pediatrician, public health expert, and teacher, with significant contributions to the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
He has published more than 20 original research articles in national and international journals and has contributed several chapters to books of national repute. He has received the prestigious Shishu Shiromani Award (East Zone) in 2018 from the Honorable Health Minister of Bihar, Shri Mangal Pandey, and the Pratibha Samman Award in 2017 from Honorable Minister Dr. C. P. Thakur.
