KK Banerjee MBBS, MD is ex-Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and associated GTB Hospital, Delhi, and also ex-Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. He completed his MBBS and MD degrees from UCMS. Prof Banerjee has an experience of over 35 years in the medicolegal field. He is involved in teaching forensic medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate students besides handling the medicolegal work of the associated GTB Hospital.

He is a lifetime member of Maharashtra Medico-legal Association, Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Indian Society of Toxicology, South India Medicolegal Association, and Associations of Health Profession Educators. He has been a reviewer for many journals like Journal of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Journal of Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Journal of Forensic Research and Criminal Investigation, and Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. He has given expert opinions in many medicolegal cases during his tenure.
