Produl Hazarika
Produl Hazarika MS, FACS, FRCS (Edin), FIAO, FUWAI, FUICC, is a former Professor and Head, Department of ENT and Head-Neck Surgery, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and former Senior Consultant at NMC Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He is currently Consultant ENT Surgeon at Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati, Assam. With over 30 years of clinical experience and 25 years in teaching undergraduates and postgraduates, he has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Dr. Hazarika has been a sought-after speaker at conferences, live surgery workshops, and CME programs in India and abroad. Selected as an International Guest Scholar by the American College of Surgeons in 1986, he has traveled widely, including to the US, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Switzerland, and Mauritius. He was the first surgeon to introduce the Nucleus 22-channel cochlear implant in India in 1995.
