Dr. Janakarajan Ramkumar, PhD Dr. Janakarajan Ramkumar is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Design at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). His research interests include micro- and nano-manufacturing, sustainable and cost-effective products, and process development. He has over 250 publications, more than 80 patents, and serves as a reviewer for over 20 journals. He has consulted on projects for DRDO, DST, BIRAC, HAL, and other organizations, and has conducted more than 150 seminars on NPTEL, MOOCs, and FDPs to inspire research among Indian students.
