The need for the same arises because of persisting problem faced by the conventional drug delivery system.The novel formulations have remarkable enhancement of solubility, bioavailability, protection from toxicity and enhancement of pharmacological activity. Exposure to the students with respect to novel drug delivery systems becomes important in University imparting higher education. With patents and critical parameters directing the success of novel drug delivery system, It is essential for the students to get exposed to these delivery systems.
Md. Rafiul Haque, MPharm, PhD
Dr. Md. Rafiul Haque is a faculty member at the School of Pharmacy, Al-Karim University, Katihar, Bihar. He earned his BPharm (2006), MPharm (2009), and PhD in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry from the School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER), Hamdard University, New Delhi. He was awarded an AICTE Fellowship during his MPharm program.
Dr. Haque has worked as a Senior Research Fellow on a CCRUM project under the Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, and has also gained industrial experience in various unit operations at Hamdard Laboratories (India), Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana. He possesses extensive experience in teaching, industry, and research.
He has published several research articles in reputed international journals, along with a few publications in well-recognized national journals, and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Haque is GATE-qualified and has been honored by his institution for his dynamic contributions to organizational growth. He is an active member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and serves as a reviewer for journals such as Pharmaceutical Biology and Toxicology Mechanisms and Methods.
Swati Mittal (B.Pharm., M.Pharm.) is an Assistant Professor at HIMT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She has experience in teaching and research and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Abhilashi University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. She has published a research article on proniosomes as drug carriers in transdermal drug delivery systems and has presented her research work at several national conferences.
