After completing his MBBS and MD in Pathology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka, he worked as a Junior Consultant in the Department of Hematology at the National Reference Laboratory of Dr. Lal PathLabs, Rohini, New Delhi. He then completed his senior residency at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital and Medical College, Rohini, New Delhi.
