Harish Rajak

Harish Rajak, M.Pharm., PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (a Central University), Bilaspur. He has more than 15 years of experience in research and academics. He is actively involved in teaching medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis to students of B.Pharm., M.Pharm., and Pre-PhD courses. His research interests include the synthesis and biological evaluation of small heterocyclic molecules. He is the author of four books, including Antimicrobial Activity of 1,3,4-Oxadiazole Analogues, Four Binding Site Hypothesis for Anticonvulsant Activity, Antimicrobial Evaluation of Some Novel 1,3,4-Oxadiazoles, and Histone Deacetylase Inhibitors in the Treatment of Leukemia. He has published more than 105 peer-reviewed research and review articles in national and international scientific journals. He is a member of the editorial boards and reviewers’ panels of several reputed journals in pharmacy and medicinal chemistry. He is a life member of various professional bodies, including APTI, ISCA, ISTE, IPGA, SPER, SBC, and ACT. He has presented his research work at international conferences in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Germany, and the Netherlands. Dr. Rajak has completed and is currently involved in several research projects funded by the Government of India, including UGC, DST, and AICTE.
