The goal of Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches for Suicidal Adolescents: Translating Science Into Practice is to provide clinicians with a review of the existing evidence-based psychotherapy approaches for the treatment of suicidal adolescents, along with practical guidelines for how to implement these approaches in their practices. These practice-friendly treatment reviews are bracketed by chapters on risk factors for adolescent suicide attempts and suicide deaths, guidelines for basic safety measures for at-risk youth, and current research and clinical guidelines on medication management with suicidal youth.
