Ashutosh Kar is an Ex-Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Lingaya’s University, Faridabad, India. He has over 38 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in India and Africa and has published more than 50 research papers in reputed national and international journals. His academic career includes teaching assignments at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia; Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar; Al-Arab Medical University, Libya; the University of Delhi; the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; RNS College of Pharmacy, Madhya Pradesh; Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram; and Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth. Prof. Kar has received several prestigious honors, including multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Indian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologists, the Association of Pharmacy Professionals, the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, and Nirali Prakashan. He was also conferred the Scroll of Honor by DIPSAR, University of Delhi. He has authored 40 textbooks, notably Chemistry of Natural Products (Volumes 1–3), Advanced Inorganic Chemistry (Volumes 1 and 2), and Pharmaceutical Analysis I & II. In addition to his academic career, he has over 10 years of industrial experience, having served as General Manager (R&D), Production Manager, and Research and Development Officer in public limited companies.
