S. K. Bhattacharya, MS (Cal.), FRCS (Edin.), is a senior consultant laparoscopic surgeon and urologist practicing in Kolkata. He served as a Demonstrator in Anatomy at Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital and later as a Clinical Tutor in Urology in the Department of Surgery at the same institution. He also worked as a consultant surgeon at various district hospitals in West Bengal and retired as a Senior Surgeon from Sambhunath Pandit Hospital, Kolkata. Throughout his teaching career, he has been a popular and respected teacher. He continues to keep himself updated with the latest developments in the field of surgery.
