Tharun, MPharm, PhD, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry at the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar. He served as the Head of the Department (HOD) from 2012-2013, IQAC Coordinator for Criteria III from 2018-2020, and Examination Coordinator for Professional Courses in the Examination Branch from 2020-2023 at Palamuru University. He is currently a member of the DPR Committee (2024) at the University. Dr. Tharun has more than 17 years of teaching and research experience.

Pavan Kumar Pindi

Dr. Pavan Kumar Pindi is currently a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and the Director of the Research Cell at the University PG College, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, Telangana, India. He earned his M.Sc. and PhD in Microbiology from Kakatiya University, Warangal. Dr. Pindi has 30 years of research experience and 16 years of teaching experience. He has published more than 100 research articles and holds 6 patents. He has also worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Munich, Germany, and at CCMB, Hyderabad. He has received several prestigious awards, including the DAAD Fellowship (2000), DST-Young Scientist Award (2011), UGC Research Award (2013), Best Scientist Awards (2016 and 2018), and the State Best Teacher Award (2019) from the Government of Telangana. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, London, UK, and the Telangana State Academy of Sciences (TAS). Dr. Pindi has made significant contributions to strengthening academic bodies by achieving key recognitions, such as UGC-12B (2014), PCI-Pharmaceutical Sciences (2014), NCTE-Education (2015), NAAC Accreditation (2018), RUSA (2.0), and has been involved in organizing Convocations in 2014 and 2018.
